Attention Future Problem Solvers, we will not meet this week due to parent teacher conferences.

Algebra students, please stop by Mrs. Ayers' room to pick up the homework worksheet.

Attention Bike club members and volunteers: The list of students who have been accepted to bike club (along with the volunteers) are posted on the bulletin board outside of Mrs. McAlees's office. Our first meeting will be February 20th from 2:45-4:30. We will meet in the cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you there!

Kona will be here on friday the 23rd. Students make sure you bring your money with you. Students without money will not be permitted to leave class.

We are in the final week of intramural basketball signups. Forms are available outside room 109 and in the main office. Completed registration forms and your fee can be turned in to room 109, Mr. Ponzer or in the main office. Make sure to sign up before it's too late.

Just a reminder that the Pennies for Patients starts today through March 2nd. Top earning PBL class receives a pizza or pasta party and the grade level that wins the Penny Wars will receive a movie day. So break open those piggy banks and grab that loose change under the couch and donate for a great cause.

Do you want to get rid of your Legos? Have you and your family members outgrown the wonder of Lego Building? Well the Jones Makerspace will take those Legos off your hands! We are creating a space for activities such as Lego challenges for our students and we are in desperate need of Legos
If you are willing to donate your Legos please put them in the tan bin in the library.
Thank you for supporting the Jones MakerSpace!

Intramural basketball signups continue through Friday.

Students, don't forget to tell your parents about the book fair family night Wednesday from 4-7 during parent teacher conferences. Also, if you have a quarter you have enough to take a chance at winning a poster or other cool prize. For just a quarter you can either buy a ticket in the poster raffle or pull a dum dum sucker and hope you pull one of the lucky ones that are colored on the bottom. So bring your quarters and take your chances at winning some prizes at the book fair.

Teachers, Mrs. Barry put new individual overdue/lost library notices in your mailboxes for you to give to parents this evening during conferences. We still have 220 books not returned and/or paid for. Please help by bringing this matter to their parents attention. Thanks for your help in getting these back where they belong so that other students may enjoy them too.

The penny war is still going strong and the competition is fierce! Remember, in order for any PBL class to win the pizza party, the entire school must collect at least $750!! If every student brings in one dollar, we could easily exceed that goal!!! Unfortunately all of us are somehow effected by cancer, whether it is a friend or family member, this money goes to help fund cancer research!! Please keep the competition going strong! You guys rock!!

Penny War results:

1st place 6th grade with negative $20.98
2nd place 7th grade with negative $30.64
3rd place 8th grade with negative $55.53
