Classic Gamers Club will begin the new year on Friday, January 12th.

CEMS will be having their first meeting of the CEMS Sports Club on January 18th from 3pm-4pm at Burlington Baptist Church Activity Center. Mr. Jordan will be the club sponsor, you can sign up in room 804 before January 16th. There is a limit to the number of students so don’t delay in signing up. The feature sport for January is Basketball and participation is free but you must be a CEMS student.

Saturday, January 13th CEMS Cheerleaders will be hosting a Royal Character Breakfast to help support their trip to the National Cheerleading Championship at Disney World.  The cost is $7 per person or $24 for a family of 4. Tickets will be $10 at the door. Reservations must be received by January 5th. What’s included: Doughnuts, juice, water, coffee, Meet/ greet with the princesses, Storytime, face painting, music and games. There will be silent auction items for parents. You can pick up reservation forms in the main office or from a cheerleader.

"A new club is starting this month for girls who are interested in computer science and coding.  Check out the Camp Ernst MS website and complete the application to join the "Girls Who Code" club.  The first club meeting takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd.  You must register to join."

We have an informational letter in the front office for any student who will be attending Cooper High School and is interested in running track for Cooper Middle School.

3D Printing Club applications have been extended to this Friday, go to the CEMS website to access the application.

CEMS PTSO will be hosting the 4th annual Red Carpet Event on January 27, 2018 from 9:00-12:00.  The event is open to CEMS students from 9:00-12:00 and to the community from 10:00-12:00. Continental Breakfast items will be available.  CEMS is now collecting gently used dress attire for any student in the community to wear to an upcoming semi-formal dance. You can drop items off during home basketball games or in the front office. Items needed: semi-formal dresses, shoes, costume jewelry, purses, Men’s suits, dress pants, shirts and ties.
