Hello Students and Parents:
Welcome to 4th grade!
Let me tell you a little about me- I grew up all over the world as part of a military family until settling in Kentucky in 1989. My family has recently grown in size! My family consist of my husband Brent, who just officially retired as at Lt. Col in the USAF. He served our country for over 20+ years. My three daughters- Tara, Trista and Aspeyn, Two sons- Cayleb and Dakota, my horses Rain, BG and Vodel, and my dogs Xena and Zoey. For fun outside of school I enjoy competing in horse show competitions, cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals, running and reading, (when my job and kids let me). I have an extreme love of all animals which led me to a veterinary assistant and technologist degree, before I decided I wanted to teach children.
I have been teaching at New Haven since my graduation from Northern Kentucky University in December 2010. I taught pre-school and Kindergarten at The Goddard School for five and half years before that and during that time I went back to school to get my Kentucky Teaching Certificate. Here at New Haven I have taught Technology, 3rd Grade and 4th Grade.
I am so excited to be teaching your wonderful children and look forward to seeing them grow and succeed in the classroom here at New Haven Elementary, and in life.
