Class of 2023 (current seniors) that qualify for the following prestigious honors and recognition at our Commencement Ceremony must apply in the Guidance office by Friday, November 4.  Pages 19-20 of the student handbook explains the criteria for graduating with honors.

Paper copies of the application can be found in the Guidance office.  Please note there is a $20.00 charge for stoles and and for cords to be worn at graduation services. Checks or Cash are accepted. Checks are to be made out to Randall Cooper High School (RCHS Attn: Stacey Guthrie).

Application for Graduation with Honors and CAMS Endorsement

 

Graduation with Honors

Cum Laude

Achieve a weighted GPA of 3.8 and have taken at least 2 AP and/or Dual Enrollment courses

*Bronze stoles worn at Graduation

 

Magna Cum Laude

Achieve a weighted GPA of 4.15 and have taken at least 5 AP and/or Dual Enrollment courses

 *Silver stoles worn at Graduation

 

Summa Cum Laude

Achieve a weighted GPA of 4.5 and have taken at least 8 AP and/or Dual Enrollment courses

 *Gold stoles worn at Graduation

A completed application is required if you want to be recognized at Graduation! 

 

CAMS PROGRAM - Cooper Academy of Mathematics and Science

Any senior who has successfully completed the CAMS program curriculum will need to fill out an application in the Guidance Office in order to be recognized for this achievement at our Senior Honors Night in the spring and Graduation Services. Students should submit this application by Friday, November 4, along with the $20.00 charge for the CAMS cord to be worn at Graduation.  Checks or Cash are accepted. Checks are to be made out to Randall Cooper High School (RCHS Attn: Stacey Guthrie).
