Parents please be aware there will be a Total Solar Eclipse of the sun on Monday August 21st.

School will remain in session with special activities or lessons planned for students about the eclipse. We will not allow students to participate in any unstructured outdoor activities. We will advise students not to look directly into the sun during dismissal. More detailed information and web links about the Solar Eclipse and where you can purchase Solar Eclipse safety glasses can be found on the district website.

Options for students/parents:
1. Normal school, normal dismissal for student.
2. Complete and Educational Enhancement Opportunity form to view the eclipse with your child. Your child will be counted as present at school. Use this link: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSc47YVwPHpc02YstS/viewform
3. Pick up your child early for an excused early dismissal or fill out an EEO (see link above) for a partial day and your child will be counted as present.
4. Keep your child at home. Write a note and they will receive an excused absence.
5. Contact school and ask us to hold your child until 4 pm for parent pickup.
