A Little About Myself

Hello and welcome to Goodridge Elementary School. My name is Mrs. Baker.  I have been happily married since 1998 to my best friend, Jason.  Together we have two daughters, Morgan who is a 6th grade and Sarah who is in 3rd grade.   I love to read during my free time and spend time with my family.  My family has a camper and we spend a lot of our weekends camping.  We enjoy exploring nature, hiking, geocaching, and campfires.  We have just purchased kayaks, so we have been paddling down some local tributaries.
My Teaching
I love to have fun while learning. My belief is school should be a place of smiles and children feeling proud of what they have accomplished. I have been teaching since August 1998. In the classroom, I strive to create an atmosphere where the children feel comfortable and safe. My ultimate goal is to see your child reach his or her full potential.
I Need You
To be fully successful, students need not only support from their teachers, but from their parents/guardians as well. This means showing an interest in what they do in school and taking a few minutes to go over their homework. These actions show your child how highly you value education. It also shows them that teachers and parents are partners in education. I will be communicating with you throughout the year about activities and important announcements through the website and the agenda. The more the school and the family join as partners in education, the greater your child’s chance for success will be. I hope we can work together to make your child’s school experience a happy and productive one.
Contact Me
Please know that my door is always open. If you feel the need to speak to me concerning your child, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good communication between school and the home is important. You can send in a note,

Mrs. Nicole Baker
